Whitney Cummings is a Los Angeles based comedian, actor, writer, producer, director and animal welfare advocate. She is a proud dog mom to three adorable rescue pups.
Best known for her hand in creating and starring in the NBC series Whitney, Cummings also co-created and co-wrote the Emmy nominated CBS comedy series 2 Broke Girls. This past Summer she wrapped her new pilot, A Lot.
Appearances in series such as Undateable, Workacholics, Maron and the Netflix series The Ridiculous Six, have solidified her presence in television comedy. Cumming’s also appeared regularly on E!’s Chelsea Lately, as well as Comedy Central’s Roast series. In film, she can be seen in such hits as Maid of Honor, Strike, Just Like Us, 3,2,1, Frankie go Boom, The Wedding Ringer, and Warner Brother’s latest film Unforgettable.
Whitney recently wrapped her directorial debut, a feature adaptation she co-wrote of Louann Brizendine’s best seller The Female Brain. In addition to directing, she stars alongside Sophia Vergara, Kat Dennings, Cecily Strong, James Marsden and Blake Griffin.
